Tephanie Gandia

Ms. Gandia has been awarded "Asia Future Leader" by IFLR in 2021 - only one from the Philippines – for handling "influential, precedent-setting transactions" and receiving "high praise from peers and clients, indicating readiness to step up to leadership positions." She has been consistently ranked as an up-and-coming lawyer by IFLR 1000 and the Legal500 Asia Pacific since 2016. She has advised on acquisition structures and financing in the shipping, logistics, energy, retail, real estate and banking sectors. She also regularly acts as counsel to issuers and underwriters on public offerings, both debt and equity.

• Acted as transaction counsel in the acquisition of a controlling stake in 2GO Group by SM Investments from Chelsea Logistics, undertaking a mandatory tender offer for up to Php9.8 Billion;
• Advised BDO Unibank on the issuance and listing of Php52.7 Billion BDO ASEAN Sustainability Bonds;
• Advised Udenna Corporation in its USD980 Million acquisition of GGDC Holdings and in the USD690 Million financing for the project
