Sorin Vlădescu is Partner specializing in the field of energy projects, especially electricity. In this area, he has been involved in a variety of high-profile merger and acquisition transactions, as well as several major privatization deals in Romania. He has dealt with regulatory components of M&A and other transactional work arising from the energy sector, including restructuring/de-regulation arising out of the wholesale and retail electricity/power market, as well as development of energy projects (such as electric, oil and gas fired plants, nuclear and hydro-electric plants, etc). Sorin is also highly skilled in renewable projects (i.e, financing, development and regulatory issues surrounding wind generation, solar, biomass energy generation), while also handling complex greenfield projects, including the largest onshore wind farm project in Europe.).
