Sophie Laguesse

Sophie Laguesse’s principal field of activity is the structuring and formation of private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and debt funds under the form of regulated or non-regulated vehicles.
Sophie has been a member of the Management Board of the firm since September 2022.

Sophie has in-depth experience of advising on all aspects of these alternative investment funds including on the structuring and documentation of carried interest, segregated mandates and co-investment schemes.
Sophie also advises private equity firms and real estate funds on joint venture projects and corporate governance matters.

• Member of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds Committee and of the Infrastructure Committee of ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry).
• Co-head of the Legal & Regulatory Committee of the ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) from 2010 to 2016.
• Co-founder of the non-profit association Les Enfants du Vietnam Luxembourg.

• Magister in Rechte from the Universität Trier (Germany).
• Licence en droit from the Université de Liège (Belgium).
