Sofia's practice focuses on advising clients on the tax and corporate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, restructurings and corporate joint ventures. Sofia also works on issues related to corporate finance and domestic and international taxation and has solid experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, hostile takeovers and cross-border transactions.

• Advised Apax Partners in the acquisition of Nowo´s group of companies;
• Advised Amy’s Kitchen on the EUR 2.5 million land acquisition and AICEP financing;
• Advised Intrum Justitia in the EUR 19.5 million acquisition of Logicomer;
• Advised Sanofi in the Portuguese segment of the global sale of the generic pharmaceutical products business.
