Biography
Reiji Takahashi specializes in financial transaction, in particular, project finance and Private Finance Initiatives (PFI).
Mr. Takahashi represented national government, local governments, private companies or banks in many PFI projects including all prison projects initiated by Ministry of Justice, Haneda air terminal project, which is the largest PFI project in Japan, satellite project, etc.
Mr. Takahashi also has extensive experience advising on renewable energy projects, IPP project, resource development and water sector business.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in the JPY2 billion concession project of Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport.
- Advised Lenders in the project finance of 150MW wind farm project in Fukushima Prefecture.
- Advised Lenders in the project finance of 235MW PV project in Setouchi City
- Advised Hamamatsu City in the concession project of the drainage system of Hamamatsu City
- Advised Kumamoto Prefecture in the concession project of two industrial water systems on Kumamoto Prefecture
