Raymond is a corporate partner in Fangda’s Hong Kong office, with a primary focus on cross-border M&A and private equity. He has extensive experience advising domestic and international corporations, private equity funds and other institutional investors on their cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, pre-IPO investments, and disposals.
Raymond’s understanding of the commercial thinking, negotiation style, and business culture of both Chinese and international parties have proven instrumental in bringing successful outcomes for his clients. This is especially the case in complicated transactions involving parties from different backgrounds, where reaching common ground requires a mix of strong technical skills and the ability to reason across a sometimes wide expectations gap.
Prior to joining Fangda, Raymond practiced in Sydney, Australia, and subsequently in the Hong Kong office of a leading international law firm.
