Biography
Philippe Hoss is a Partner at Elvinger Hoss Prussen. His principal areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking, and finance.
He authored the first published English translation of the Luxembourg Law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies and all subsequent updates. He also serves as Chairman of the special working group of the Commission d’Etudes Législatives responsible for studying corporate law reform.

- Advised Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BGL BNP Paribas, Citibank Europe plc, Société Générale, and Spuerkeess as joint lead managers on the bond issuance by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
- Assisted Subsea7 on Luxembourg law matters relating to its proposed merger with Saipem.
- Advised Arendt on entering a partnership with BlackFin Capital Partners to support the expansion of Arendt Investor Services (AIS).
- Advised CVC and Żabka Group on the offering and listing of Żabka Group shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The offering raised PLN 6.45 billion (approximately EUR 1.5 billion) at PLN 21.50 per share.
