Peter is head of Cirio’s mergers and acquisitions group and specialises in private M&A, corporate law, joint ventures and financing. Many of his clients operate within private equity, IT/telecom, retail and financial services. He also has extensive international and crossborder experience. Peter holds law degrees from Stockholm University and Oxford University and is lecturing on corporate law and transaction related topics.
Peter has acted for Telia Company, the Swedish telecom giant, on numerous acquisitions as lead counsel. In the private equity sector, Peter has acted on many acquisitions and disposals for Nalka Invest as lead counsel on both domestic and international transactions. In the food and beverage industry, Peter has acted for ICA, a leadning grocery chain, and Altia, a Finnish listed producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages, in acquisitions of extensive wines and spiritis portfolios. In the IT space, has acted for Levi Ray & Shoup and Autodesk.
