Olli-Pekka Veranen is a Partner at EY Transaction Law. Olli-Pekka advises financial sponsors, founders and growth companies in private equity, growth and venture capital investments, as well as industrial clients in, e.g., M&A transactions and operational activities comprehensively in various sectors.
Olli-Pekka has more than 15 years of experience in advising international and Finnish clients in complex cross-border and domestic private and public M&A arrangements and capital investments. Olli-Pekka also offers general corporate, compliance and contractual advice to EY’s clients.
Before EY, Olli-Pekka was an M&A specialist partner in one of the leading Finnish law firms and he has also worked at a Magic Circle law firm in the UK, where he advised industrial clients and financial investors.
Olli-Pekka has a master's degree in law from the University of Turku, a master's degree in economics and business administration from the Turku School of Economics, and he has also studied commercial law and economics at University of California, Berkeley.
