Nina Zafoschnig is an attorney at law (counsel) at Schoenherr's Vienna office. Nina has been a member of Schoenherr's regulatory practice group since 2017 and was admitted to the Austrian bar in 2021. Her main areas of practice are constitutional law, administrative law, administrative procedural law, trade law and energy law with a focus on EU energy regulation and Austrian energy law.
Nina advises clients in various administrative and administrative criminal proceedings before Austrian authorities, administrative courts and the Austrian Administrative Supreme Court and Austrian Constitutional court. She advised national and international clients on Austrian and EU energy law as well as on matters regarding the Austrian energy market. Nina regularly advises Austrian and international clients in M&A transactions regarding aspects of regulatory, energy and environmental law. Furthermore, Nina advises Austrian and international clients on matters of Austrian trade law.
