Michael Trippel's main areas of focus are capital markets, M&A, private equity and joint ventures. He regularly advises issuers and underwriters in capital market transaction such as rights and convertible bond issues and has a broad experience in advising national and international companies on listing as well as general corporate and commercial matters. Michael Trippel works in both our Zurich and Zug offices.
An important aspect of his practice is also advising national and international companies on general corporate and commercial matters, including re-domiciliation (inbound and outbound). Michael Trippel regularly advises both investors and companies on early-stage and follow-on investments.
Michael Trippel is a member of the eight-member group of lawyers who drafted the S E C A (Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association) model documentation for venture capital investments; a model documentation that is regularly used in venture capital transactions in Switzerland. He regularly drafts and reviews shareholders' agreements and investment agreements.
