Mariane’s practice focuses on investment funds and asset management, including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, credit and distressed debt funds, real estate funds and infrastructure funds. She has been involved in structuring and negotiating multiple fundraisings, domestic and cross-border transactions, secondary private equity transactions and disposition of assets/private interests. Mariane also assists both family offices and private clients in analyzing and implementing different investment structures to invest locally and internationally.
In addition, Mariane regularly represents a broad range of alternative asset management firms in the formation and ongoing operation of cryptocurrency and other digital assets funds, providing strategic advice on Brazilian Securities Commission (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários) examination and compliance counselling, including with respect to regulatory developments.
Mariane has previously worked as a foreign associate at Dechert LLP in New York and Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands.
