Luisa Rivas has focused her practice on corporate, commercial, financial, energy, state contracting, public-private partnerships, construction contracts, contracts and mergers and acquisitions, advising national and international companies. Luisa has participated in various local and multi-jurisdictional legal operations, advising different groups of businessmen in relation to their structure and acquisition, negotiation and execution of acquisitions, financial agreements, and corporate planning.

He has extensive experience structuring financing and advising various companies in regulated industries, including energy on matters related to energy sales and supply contracts, maintenance of electrical installations, the market, and also advising from a regulatory perspective on the establishment and operation of electrical installations related to the generation and distribution of energy. Likewise, it advises the development of public infrastructure projects through traditional procedures such as public tenders, as well as through innovative commercial structures.

  • Luisa and her team advised a large multinational financial institution (Bank A) acted as the administrative agent and collateral agent for a $600 million bond issuance by a company (Issuer) in a refinancing transaction. The bond issuance was part of a refinancing
  • Luisa advises a leading provider of wireless telecommunications infrastructure in Latin America on corporate, M&A, regulatory, financial, and real estate matters.
  • Luisa and her team successfully advised a client (subsidiary of energy construction company) in securing a Bridge Loan from a a group of banks to refinance a syndicated loan used for developing the first-ever wind power project in El Salvador
