Luis is one of PLMJ’s founding partners. He is a senior partner in the Corporate M&A practice and has 50 years’ experience as a lawyer. Over the years, he has acted in some of the most important legal operations in Portugal and abroad.
Luis specialises in international transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment.
He provides legal support for cross-border transactions and large-scale investment projects involving various countries, including China, Angola, Mozambique and Portugal.
In 1998, he was one of the driving forces behind the setting up of the PLMJ Foundation and he is still involved today in his role as president of its board.
