Mr. Xuezhong Lu is a senior partner of AllBright Law Offices with his base in Shanghai. He is one of the co-heads of the Cross-border Investment Professional Committee of the firm. He also serves as an off-campus mentor for Master of Law students at East China University of Political Science and Law.
Mr. Lu specializes in overseas investment, cross-border investment and M&A, corporate restructuring, private equity and venture capital, etc., involved in industries such as healthcare and pharmaceutical, real estate, TMT, high-end manufacturing, retail and consumer. He has about 20 years of experience in the aforementioned practice areas and industries.
Mr. Lu has represented many Fortune 500 companies, international and domestic well-known investment institutions and corporate groups in a series of cross-border transactions, including the entry and implementation of major foreign investment projects, the organization and implementation of complex overseas investments and acquisitions, cross-border investment and M&A transactions, red-chip structures and other types of corporate restructuring, private equity and venture capital investments and financing, investment and financing and compliance operations of pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, real estate companies development and operation, data protection and compliance, etc.
- Advised Lilly Asia Ventures, one of the world’s leading life sciences and healthcare venture capital fund, on its equity investments in more than a dozen pharmaceutical companies.
- Provided legal services to Hong Fu Asset’s funds for investment projects in over ten medical health and pharmaceutical enterprises including Bozhiyanxin, Changfeng Imaging, Jiangyin Jiyuan, Chongqing Qinsong, Yafei, Wangshan Wangshui, etc.
