Jeffrey Mak is the principal of Jeffrey Mak Law Firm, a boutique corporate finance law firm. He has worked with leading international law firms focusing on corporate finance matters. He specializes in corporate regulatory matters, transactional execution and compliance for listed companies, corporate governance, restructuring and resumption, public M&As, takeovers, partial offers, rights issues, open offers, capitalization issues, share repurchases, spin‐offs, privatizations, restructurings, IPOs, issuance of shares, warrants, convertible bonds, exchangeable bonds, DCM transactions, and other regulated transactions relating to listed companies. Jeffrey also acts for listed companies when they are subjected to regulators' inquiries on compliance matters. He has advised on a wide range of public M&A transactions involving listed companies in financial services (including China Merchants Bank's acquisition of Wing Lung Bank), natural resources, environmental protection, property, civil aviation, renewable energy, information technology, consumer goods and media sectors.   • Representing Fourace Industries Group Holdings Limited, a lifestyle electrical appliances manufacturer, in its IPO on the main board of HKEX.
  • Representing Haier Electronics Group Co., Ltd. in its privatization by way of a scheme of arrangement in connection with the IPO listing of H shares of Haier Smart Home (HKEX: 6690) by way of securities exchange.
