Håkan Fohlin works with Swedish and international M&A, often in collaboration with foreign law firms.
After 30 years at Setterwalls, Håkan has wide-ranging corporate law competence and also much experience of complex contract negotiations, as well as of general contract and commercial contract law.
For many years, he has managed Swedish and international projects within company acquisition, corporate establishments in Sweden, corporate finance, joint ventures, and private and public project financing. This includes providing advice to investors and portfolio companies on the venture capital and private equity markets. After studies abroad, internships in the UK and the USA, participation in the International Bar Association, Håkan’s international contact network is large. He was the managing partner of the firm during 2004-2007 and is currently responsible for Setterwalls’ China desk in Stockholm, and for coordinating Setterwalls Stockholm’s international contacts.
