Dr. Gulnur Nurkeyeva is a Kazakhstani attorney, CEDR-accredited mediator, and legal expert at the Institute of Legislation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with over 25 years of extensive international legal experience.
She serves as an arbitrator on several panels, including the Astana International Finance Center IAC in Kazakhstan, Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) as well as Xi’An and Weihai arbitration commissions in China.
She has made a significant contribution to Kazakhstan’s legal framework, notably participating in drafting the country’s first tax code, customs code, and amending numerous laws to align with these codes.
Dr. Nurkeyeva specializes in international M&A, construction, cross-border commercial dispute resolution, and representing the interests of Chinese state-owned enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, such as CITIC Group, Sinopec, CNOOC, CNPC, CNNC, China Railway Group, Power China and major banks and financial institutions such as CDB, PICC, CIIC, ICBC, Export-Import Bank of China etc
