Gabriel Zbârcea is Managing Partner at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. Together with Florentin Ţuca, he oversees the management of the firm, while also being actively involved in aspects of client relationship and client development. His main areas of expertise are in mergers, acquisitions and privatization, corporate and commercial law, energy and natural resources, real estate. Gabriel Zbârcea has assisted Romanian and foreign companies in international joint ventures and corporate restructuring. He has also acted as a co-ordinator in mergers, acquisitions and privatization deals taking place in Romania, including the first privatization projects in the area of electricity, oil and gas, as well as in the development of green-field investments in the renewables, oil, gas, mining and steel sectors. He also specializes in property law and the financial and security aspects of real estate transactions. In addition to his legal background, Gabriel Zbârcea honed his skills and talents in the public sector while working within the Cabinet of the Romanian Prime-Minister and the Romanian Privatization Agency – the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AAAS). He is a regular speaker on topics related to the legal framework applicable to investments and author of articles on real estate, mergers and acquisitions, banking, oil and gas.
