Biography

Frank qualified as a Chinese lawyer in 1998 and joined Dentons Shanghai in 2001. He is co-head of financial institutions sector and leader of financial derivatives group in China region. He has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on both inbound and outbound transactions. 

Recent transactional highlights
  • Represented China Financial Futures Exchange on the establishment of CENEIX (China Europe International Exchange) with Shanghai Stock Exchange and Deutsche Borse AG in Frankfurt.
  • Provided legal retainer services to Shanghai Stock Exchange.
  • Advised on the ISDA agreement signed for Financial Derivatives trade conducted by Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and Bank of China and issued revise advice under PRC Law.
  • Advised on the syndicated loan transfer from Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank Hong Kong Branch to Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank.
  • Advised China Development Bank on its US dollar finance to the Greenland Group’s Jeju Island Project (approximately USD47million).
