Evelyn Ang

Evelyn is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk’s Corporate practice group.

She has over 24 years of experience in legal practice and advises on corporate commercial, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.

In the area of mergers and acquisitions, Evelyn has advised on private and public mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, public takeovers, de-listings, as well as Singapore law aspects of global restructurings, and global acquisitions and divestments of businesses.

In the area of corporate finance work, she has advised on rights issues, share placement exercises, and private equity and venture capital fund-raising exercises.

• Advising a leading health care platform on numerous acquisitions of and investment in healthcare companies and assets in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Indonesia, including its acquisition of a private diagnostic and molecular imaging service provider for S$111 million.
• Advised a private dental group on its acquisition of more than 20 dental clinics, dental laboratories and training centres across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Advised an international financial services and technology company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as Singapore legal counsel on its acquisition of the entire customer portfolio of a global bank’s merchant acquiring businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, comprising over 20,000 merchants across industries such as airlines, financial service and retail.
• Advised a sovereign wealth fund on its divestment of controlling interests in a group of listed and unlisted companies.
• Advised a leading European financial institution in relation to the Singapore law aspects of its cross-border acquisition of a global insurance group’s wealth management business.
