Elsa is a senior counsel in the Corporate M&A practice. She has more than 25 years’ experience in legal practice and has focused on setting up project finance deals for road and rail infrastructures. In recent years, she has worked on privatisation and acquisitions in the road concessions, aviation and energy sectors. Elsa advises corporate clients, including infrastructure concessionaires and aviation companies.
She has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and completed a postgraduate course in corporate finance at the same faculty.
Elsa was a trainee and began her career as a lawyer at PLMJ (1990/1995). She then returned to the firm in 2016 after working at the law firms of J. Henriques da Silva e Associados and Cuatrecasas.
