Biography
Craig is a Partner specialising in commercial litigation, corporate insolvency and restructuring. He advises insolvency practitioners in the discharge of their duties as examiners of companies, liquidators and receivers, as well as advising officers and stakeholders in insolvent companies.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advising Grant Thornton as Examiner to Weatherford International plc as part of the global restructuring of the Weatherford Group which involves the restructuring of $8bn of debt.
- Lead adviser to Naval Group SA (as secured creditor) and Naval Energies SAS (as petitioning creditor) in the liquidation of the international tidal energy group (OpenHydro) headquartered in Ireland with debts of over €300m.
- Lead adviser pwc as Statutory Receiver in a Commercial Court dispute regarding commercial property valued at €35m
- Adviser to Deloitte as Official Liquidators in the liquidation of the Irish entity in the Karen Millen group – Karen Millen Ireland
- Advising DVB bank in its share enforcement of Irish subsidiaries within the Alitalia airline group
