Infrastructure finance transaction highlights include the syndicated US$ 190 million financing to Umeme limited, Uganda’s largest electricity company mandated to operate, maintain, and expand the electricity distribution and retail network in Uganda; the US$ 181 million refinancing in relation to the Kenya-Uganda Railway project; and also representing the sponsors and the project company in a US$ 681 million financing availed by a syndicate of international lenders towards the development, construction and operation of the 255MW Bujagali Hydropower Project in Uganda.
