Biography
Arturo Apéstegui is the head of the Banking and Finance department at EY Law.
He is locally and internationally recognized as a market leader with more than 25 years of experience advising local and international banks doing business in Costa Rica and directing regional financial work. Mr. Apestegui has extensive legal experience in the corporate and financial world leading M&A deals both local and transborder. Mr. Apéstegui is also the trusted personal advisor of many business leaders and its families, in the preparation of their family structures and succession plans. He also teaches M&As in the Master of Laws program at Lead University in Costa Rica.
