Annie concentrates on banking and finance transactions. She advises on a broad range of financings for leading private equity and corporate clients. She is an expert in asset-based financing and capital markets. She started her career at White & Case’s New York Office in 1990, and joined BKL in 1992.
BKL was the first Korean law firm to formally launch a Forum for Female Professionals in 2013. The Forum, comprised of four sub committees, focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of female professionals through intimate mentoring activities and by hosting lectures and seminars, among others. This Forum was established at the initiative of BKL’s management committee who believed that competitive female professionals increase the global competitiveness of the firm and its members.
In addition, BKL’s efforts to grant equal rights to all female members and promote healthy work-life balance are reflected in its bylaws: childbirth/parental leave and family care leave are guaranteed, pregnant women are offered shortened working hours at the early stage of pregnancy, prenatal examination during office hours is offered, and financial support is available for workplace nursery expenses.
