Alberto Reyes

Alberto is one the main contacts in the firm for foreign investors.  He has assisted the Ministry of Commerce of the Dominican Republic in Free Trade Agreements negotiations (DR-CAFTA), negotiation rounds with the US government and represented international banks in project finance transactions in the country. He counsels large companies and developers in commercial lending and business transactions.

• Acted as legal counsel of Grupo GHR in the acquisition of multiple properties valued in excess of US$140 million.
• Team advising airline PAWA Pan American Airways in the first major bankruptcy and restructuring proceeding in the Dominican Republic.
• Represented Sunwing Travel Group in several lawsuits valued at US$130 million.
