Partner of the Corporate area since 2001, head of M&A practice (2015-2018), member of the Board and Social Responsibility and Pro Bono Committee of the office. Specialist in Corporate Law, corporate governance, securities regulation, M&A (listed companies cross border), corporate reorganizations, tender offers and administrative proceedings at the Brazilian SEC.
Currently the Diversity Committee works on three different programs:
1. Women in Machado Meyer Program (Programa Mulheres no Machado Meyer)
Mentoring Program, flexible working hours and lactation room.
2. #Equality (#1gualdade)
Respect for diversity, establish networking with firms and companies that support the LGBT and recognize the value of a diverse team
3. Afro Identity (ID.AFRO)
Respect for diversity, providing a welcoming environment and recognizing the importance of a diverse team, discuss and reflect on ways of overcoming racism, creating actions to promote racial equality
- Advised Telefonica Brasil in the acquisition of the totality of shares issued by GVT Participações S.A., from Vivendi, S.A. (French group) in the amount of EUR 7,450,000,000.00. It involved a M&A, a follow on and a corporate restructuring
- Advised Basf in the Brazilian part of the global acquisition of Bayer seeds business (EUR 7,600.000.000.00)
- Advised as deal counsel to Gerdau S.A., Tigre S.A. and Votorantim Cimentos in the creation of a JV for rewards program in the construction segment.
- Advised Telefonica Brasil in the sale of the Data Centers to Asterion and on the housing services agreement, as part of a global transaction of Telefonica Group in the amount of EUR 550,000,000.00
