Michael Yu is a corporate partner based in our Beijing Office. Michael has extensive experience representing clients in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, advising public and private companies in corporate mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments and joint ventures and assisting private equity firms with equity transactions, leveraged buyouts and going-private transactions. Michael is specialized in assisting private equity firms in the portfolio management and exit, including related dispute resolution matters. Michael has also represented issuers and sponsors with respect to initial public offerings, secondary equity offerings. Over the past 20 years, Michael’s experience has extended across a broad array of sectors including life sciences and healthcare, education, energy, consumer market, real estate, TMT, financial services, etc.
