Ark Bao is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. His practice areas include corporate, securities and capital markets,and real estate matters.



Mr. Bao has provided legal services to several domestic and overseas companies regarding A, corporate restructurings and IPOs in both domestic and overseas stock exchanges. He has also advised numerous well-known PE and VC investment projects and has assisted many real estate companies in obtaining strategic investments and share and trust financing. Mr. Bao is currently counsel to many state-owned enterprises and multinational companies, and he serves as an independent director of several listed companies. As a standing legal consultant for the Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange, Mr. Bao has helped in successfully settling many matters involving the transfer of state-owned properties. He has also participated in formulating the Shanghai municipal rules on the transfer of state-owned properties, as well as the administrative regulations of the Shanghai United Property Rights Exchange.



Mr. Bao acts for a number of real estate developers on matters such as: first-class land development, project financing, construction management, and the sale and leasing of property. These properties include urban district developments, premium residential blocks, commercial properties, industrial properties, and transport hubs. He has also led many projects relating to the acquisition of properties-under-construction, BOTs, and other properties. As legal counsel to over ten investment institutions involving real estate assets, Mr. Bao has also successfully handled several real estate financing projects through trusts, loans, and acquisitions.
