Duyen is admitted in both Vietnam and New York and is an LLM Fulbright alumni at Temple University School of Law and an LLM alumni at the University of Michigan Law School.

Her practice focuses on projects, M&A and financial institutions. She advises M&A and securities transactions involving infrastructure and energy projects, industrial properties and listed companies. She advises financial institutions in financing transactions, financial products, M&A transactions and financial regulatory matters.

Duyen is recommended as a Leading Lawyer in Vietnam by IFLR1000 and Legal 500, an Elite Practitioner by Asialaw and named a Commended External Counsel of the Year 2020 by In-House Community.

  • The founding shareholders of Thinh Phat Cables and Dovina in the US$240 million sale of their 100% equity stake to Stark Corporation; and
  • International banks in the US$125 million Reserve Based Lending Facility to SOCO International, secured against producing assets in Te Giac Trang Field of Block 16-1, Ca Ngu Vang field of Block 9-2 and Blocks 125 & 126 offshore Vietnam.
