Degang Ma has over 20 years of legal experience. His practice areas focus on intellectual property protection, transnational intellectual property trade (technology import), technology transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and intellectual property dispute resolution.

Degang Ma is one of the few Chinese lawyers who has represented Chinese companies in dealing with 337 investigation cases in the United States. He was qualified to inspect the counterpart's confidential information in his previous 337 investigation case. Degang Ma has represented many major and difficult litigation cases and commercial arbitration cases conducted by the Supreme People's Court and the High People's Court. Some of his cases were selected as classic cases by the Supreme Court and the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

His practice areas focus on patent law, but the entire practice scope includes patent infringement litigation, patent invalidation, freedom to operate (FTO), infringement of trade secrets, infringement of trademark exclusive rights, infringement of computer software copyrights, and anti-unfair competition, etc.
