Dudkowiak & Putyra has secured another concession to trade in defence-related goods and technology for a Poland-based company. The matter adds to the firm’s experience in concession proceedings as it continues to develop its defence, military and dual-use practice.

Granted in September 2026, the concession covers specified categories of explosives, weapons and ammunition, as well as products and technology intended for military or police use. It authorises trading without storage rights.

D&P supported the client throughout the concession process, from identifying the appropriate scope of the concession application and preparing the required documentation to liaising with the competent authorities until the concession was granted.

The matter was handled by Michał Puk, Wiktor Galusiński and Tomasz Halec.

Developing the defence and dual-use practice

Alongside concession proceedings, D&P’s defence and military practice advises businesses on strategic trade, export controls and regulatory compliance.

The firm also shares this experience through specialist training and industry presentations. Its lawyers delivered training on trade in strategic goods for participants at an event organised by Rzeczpospolita, covering product classification, authorisation requirements and internal compliance programmes.

At TEK.day in Gdańsk, Wiktor Galusiński and Tomasz Halec presented practical case studies on the classification and trade of maritime, defence and dual-use technologies.

Videos and practical guidance

Businesses can watch introductory videos on D&P’s dual-use and strategic goods training page. Wiktor Galusiński explains what dual-use goods are and why product classification matters, while a separate video introduces licences and concessions in Poland.
