Debevoise & Plimpton has opened in Luxembourg after hiring an Allen & Overy partner.
The office will focus on fund formation and private equity investments. The firm's new appointment Christopher Dortschy, who specialises in regulatory and asset management work, will lead the new branch. He wil be supported by the firm's London and Frankfurt offices.
The new branch is the firm's tenth globally.
