Duane Morris has strengthened its team in Vietnam with the hire of a new corporate partner.
Lang Thi Nguyen joins the firm from Frasers Law Company where she had served as a partner.
Giles Cooper, co-general director for Duane Morris Vietnam, remarked: “One of the first Vietnamese nationals to be named partner in a foreign law firm, Lang will be a great complement to Duane Morris’ efforts in Vietnam.”
Nguyen comes on board with two decades' experience advising foreign and local investors on matters involving M&A, cross-border investments, real estate, pharmaceutical, commercial and infrastructure projects. Before joining Frasers, Nguyen held the position of international counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer and also served as a senior lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal.
Nguyen joins Oliver Massmann and Giles Cooper as the third partner at Duane Morris’ Vietnam offices.
