GOLAW has successfully represented the interests of one of the largest companies of the agrarian sector in Ukraine in a dispute with the tax authority over recognition as unlawful and cancellation of the tax notice decisions for more than 16 million hryvnas.
The main reasons for charging penalties were allegedly performing “unreal” business transactions by the company, technical mistakes in tax returns, and divergence with counterparties' reports.
GOLAW attorneys managed to refute unlawful decisions and prove groundlessness of conclusions of the tax authority, which in fact had the nature of assumptions.
In addition, GOLAW managed to achieve compensation of legal expenses for professional legal assistance in the amount of more than 6 thousand dollars.
