HSA Advocates has added a new corporate and M&A partner to its Bangalore office.
Gaurav Sahay joins the firm from Kochhar & Co where he served as a corporate partner.
Sahay arrives with over a decade of experience acting for domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial matters, and boasts a strong focus on technology and telecommunications.
This move comes at a crucial time for HSA, which recently lost six partners to rival DSK Legal. HSA’s corporate and private equity practices were particularly hit by the exodus and saw the losses of partners Sharath Chandrasekhar, Aninda Pal, Harvinder Singh, and Aparajit Bhattacharya. Additionally, the projects team saw the departure of partner Anjan Dasgupta.
