Two new Swedish firms have been launched following the exit of all partners from Lindahl’s Stockholm office this month.

Cirio will focus on commercial law, with a focus on sectors such as renewable energy, life sciences and technology. A staff of 125 from Lindahl's Stockholm office have joined the firm and David Frydlinger will be its managing partner.

Westerberg & Partners will operate as a boutique law firm led by patent lawyer Jonas Westerberg. The firm will focus on intellectual property, arbitration and litigation work.

A small number of staff stayed on with Lindahl in its Stockholm office. The firm's teams in Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Örebro, and Helsingborg were unaffected by the change.
