Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has added two new partners to its restructuring practice in New York.
Paul Leake and Lisa Laukitis both join the firm from Jones Day. The duo's move comes a month and a half after the second in a couple of successvie departures from Jones Day's corporate practice.
Leake will co-head the restructuring practice, and brings experience representing a range of clients in Chapter 11 reorganisations, secured financings, out-of-court restructurings and distrssed acquisitions and investments.
Similarly, Laukitis' expertise is in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcies, particularly with regards to creditors and private equity funds. Her resume also includes advising on distressed mergers and acquisitions.
