King & Spalding has lured a new partner to its New York financial restructuring practice.
Jeffrey Pawlitz joins from Kirkland & Eliis' Chicago office.
Pawlitz specialises in all facets of financial restrucuring, including Chapter 11 restructuring alternatives and out-of-court restructuring deals. He has advised boards of directors, senior managers, and private equity and hedge fund clients.
Pawlitz is the second addition to the King & Spalding restructuring practice since May, when Mark Kaufman defected from Dentons.
