International law firm DLA Piper has made a strong push into the Nordic market through a merger with Finnish firm Peltonen LMR, and by fully integrating its Swedish operations into its global network.
Helsinki-based Peltonen has agreed to join DLA Piper group, bringing with it a team of 38 lawyers including 16 partners. It will now operate as DLA Piper Finland.
Stockholm-based DLA Nordic, meanwhile, had been working in co-operation with DLA since 2002 but has now fully integrated into the international firm and rebranded as DLA Piper.
Including its Oslo office, these mergers now make DLA Piper the only international firm with a presence in three Nordic nations.
