Singaporean law firm KhattarWong has entered into a formal law alliance (FLA) with global firm Withers.

The new entity, Withers KhattarWong, will come into effect in April when the FLA becomes active.

Margaret Robertson, Withers managing director said of the alliance: "Through working together as Withers KhattarWong, we will offer corporations, institutions, successful individuals and families in South East Asia access to Withers’ 13 offices in the US, Europe and Asia."

Withers has nine lawyers, including six partners, in Singapore office specialising on tax and estate planning, corporate, cross-border dispute resolution and arbitration work.

KhattarWong’s practice has 70 lawyers at its disposal focusing on banking and finance, property, corporate and securities, intellectual property and technology, dispute resolution and tax.

Withers KhattarWong followed the launch of Withers SBL, a three-party alliance formed between Withers’ Sydney-based team and Australian firms BLW and SBL Shmith.
