White & Case has recruited three partners from Dewey Ballantine as Dewey moves towards a merger with Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. Alan Shore Give has joined White & Case's New York office, having previously served as head of Dewey Ballantine's restructuring practice. Gover's resume includes advising the PG&E on the Chapter 11 restructuring of its two main subsidiaries, Pacific Gas & Electric and National Energy Group.
In Washington, DC White & Case took on board partners Earle O'Donnell and Donna Attanasio as new members of its energy, infrastructure and project finance group.
O'Donnell, who advises on a range of power and utility issues including mergers and acquisitions, transmission organization and regulatory questions, will head up his new firm's energy team. Among other things, Attanasio acts for clients in power contract negotiations and dealings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
