A renaissance regulator?

As if they don't have enough on their plate with an enhanced regulatory mandate, the creative brains at the Bank of England have also found time to devise a series of natty postcards. The illustrations depict topics from quantitative easing and forward guidance, to banknote security and financial policy. And they can all be downloaded from the Bank of England's website. The Bank is also giving teams of students aged 16 – 18 the chance to take on the role of Monetary Policy Committee, assessing economic conditions and the outlook for inflation. If nothing else, it's a new solution to regulatory short-staffing.
