Paul Hastings scoops Parmalat counsel

Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker opened two new offices, one in Milan, Italy and the other in Silicon Valley in the US. The firm's first Italian office will benefit from the expertise of Bruno Cova, previously lead counsel to Parmalat, and Roberto Cornetta, the former managing partner of Norton Rose in Italy. Before Parmalat, Cova was general counsel at car maker Fiat and Italian energy company Eni. Roberto Cornetta established Norton Rose's Italian practice in 2000 and specializes in banking and M&A. Private equity specialist Tom Wisialowski, who relocates from the firm's Los Angeles office, will head the Silicon Valley office. Ex-Squire Sanders & Dempsey litigator Ronald S Lemieux will also join the office as a partner.
