Pramod joined Citi India in July 2013, and is responsible for the Legal & Secretarial functions within Citi India including Institutional Clients Group (encompassing Investment Banking, Corporate Bank, Markets & Securities Services, Trade & Transaction Services), Global Consumer Bank and various Citi India legal entities. He also oversees Citi Security & Investigative Services (CSIS). Based in Mumbai, Pramod chairs the Citi India Diversity Council and is a member of various internal management and oversight committees.

Pramod previously worked with Induslaw, a law firm as a resident partner, overseeing the Banking and Finance practice. He joined IndusLaw in 2012 and was instrumental to setting up the office in Mumbai.

Prior to Induslaw, Pramod worked with ICICI Bank for 16 years, where he joined in August 1996 upon obtaining B.A.LL.B (Hons) degree from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU) after a brief stint at Mulla and Mulla Craigie Blunt & Caroe). He then rose to become the General Counsel of ICICI Bank in December 2005 and served in that capacity until April 2012. During the course of his career at ICICI Bank, Pramod has overseen the legal function for all segments of the bank. During his time there, he also advised the Board of Directors and various Board constituted committees and served on the Board of Directors of various ICICI group companies.

Pramod is presently a member of the Legal & Banking Operations Committee of Indian Banks' Association (IBA) and of the National Committee for Regulatory Affairs constituted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Pramod also is the Chairman of the Fund Raising & Resource Mobilization Committee of IDIA Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access an NGO dedicated to assisting students from underprivileged background entering premier law schools in India. He is a member of the initial and interim Governing Board of the NLSIU Alumni Association. He serves as a non-executive Director on the Board of Directors of Ameretat Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Cloudseed Education Pvt. Ltd.

He also participates in and contributes to various law and regulatory reform initiatives of the government, regulators and industry forums.



Ajay Candade

Ajay Candade is a Principal in KKR's India private equity team and is based in Mumbai. At KKR, he has been involved in investments in TVS Logistics and Magma Fincorp. He currently serves on the board of directors of TVS Logistics and Magma Housing Finance Limited.  Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Candade was with Warburg Pincus in Mumbai, where he was involved with investments in Alliance Tire Group, Continental Warehousing Corporation Limited, ICICI Bank, Max India, and Max Healthcare. Previously, he has worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York and Mumbai.

Chakradhar Varadarajan currently is a member of Godrej Leadership Forum and is the “Head Corporate Legal”, Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Consumer Products Limited & Nature’s Basket Limited, Mumbai, India.

Mr.Chakradhar is a qualified legal counsel with a post-qualification experience of 27 years in which he spent about 24 years as an in-house counsel adding immense professional experience in legal affairs of various dimension in companies such as Hindustan Unilever Limited, Cargill India Private Limited, ITC Limited’s Corporate Legal team, Tata Cellular, Nagarjuna Investment Trust.

The corporate in-house counsel roles over these years, the exposure and involvement in various aspects of business laws including the domains such as contracts, consumer protection, immovable property as well as business acquisitions, packaged commodities and legal metrology rules, sales taxes, central excise, arbitration and litigation has kept a mark to get him before us now.

As to educational credentials, with early childhood and schooling being in different parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, he moved over to Tamil Nadu to obtain graduate degree in law from Coimbatore Law College, Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu.  Mr.Chakradhar also holds the record of being the very 1st student with a 5 year law degree to have enrolled in the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad in November 1988.

William Chua is a corporate partner based in Hong Kong. Mr. Chua is a broad-gauged transactional lawyer with deep experience in private equity and strategic M&A, finance and capital markets. He also has substantial experience counseling on corporate governance matters, including advising, structuring and implementing insider trading programs, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures and board crisis management response plans, as well as designing and implementing due diligence programs under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and laws and regulations relating to economic sanctions.

Mr. Chua is currently serving as an officer of the International Bar Association's Securities Law Committee and is Vice Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Subcommittee. He is also serving on the Asia Advisory Council of The Lawrenceville School.
Mr. Chua joined Debevoise in 2015. He was previously a partner for over a decade at another leading Wall Street law firm, where he was resident in the New York, Beijing and Hong Kong offices. A Hong Kong native, Mr. Chua began his career in New York before relocating to Hong Kong, and has practiced in Asia for over 15 years.

Mr. Chua completed an A.B. at Princeton University in 1991, and a J.D. at Harvard Law School in 1994. He is admitted to the bar in New York and Hong Kong, and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.

Before joining IDFC, Selvaraj had worked with ING Vysya, and Canara Bank as an in-house legal counsel.  Before joining  Canara Bank, Selvaraj had also practised as a litigation lawyer in the officer of the Govt. Pleader–cum-Public Prosecutor.  Selvaraj received his bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics from Bharthiar University. He also holds a Diploma in IPR from National Law School, Bangalore and Executive General Management Programme from IIM Bangalore.
