In Belgium, Ukrainian firm Asters, which earlier this year hired most of Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners' Kyiv office, became the first firm from its country to open in Brussels, launching a representative office in the city.

In Czech Republic, Weil Gothsal & Manges revealed it will be closing its Prague office by the end of the year as it continues to retrench in Eastern Europe (the firm exited Budapest in January). Weil's Prague team will launch a domestic boutique. Further details have yet to be announced.
