The nominations for the 2014 IFLR Asia Awards have been announced.

This year we are proud to announce a new award category, the high-yield team of the year, following increased deal volume this year. This award is to be awarded to a firm which has been involved in innovative high-yield deals in Asia over the past 12 months. We are also introducing a high-yield deal of the year.

We have also introduced a rising star firm of the year to be awarded to newly established firms that have demonstrated their ability to give local law advice in innovative international deals in dynamic legal markets. Firms that were established before January 1, 2008 and give local law advice in China, India, Indonesia and Singapore are eligible. We have also expanded our 'rising star' award to recognise one senior associate in each deal of the year category. Shortlists for these awards will not be released, and winners will be announced on the night.

All national law firm of the year award winners will be announced on the night, together with the winners of our Outstanding in-house contribution award, Services to financial regulation award and the IFLR market reform award.

For all deal and team of the year shortlists, please see below.

The law firms listed on each deal are based on preliminary research and submissions. If your firm advised on one of these deals but we do not have you listed, please e-mail Ashley Lee at ashley.lee@iflrasia.com.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong on February 26. The 2014 ceremony is sponsored by RR Donnelley and Major Lindsey & Africa.

To book your table, please contact Simon King at simon.king@euromoneyasia.com

TO BE ANNOUNCED ON THE NIGHT: national law firms of the year, rising star firms of the year, 'rising star' awards, Pro bono firm of the year, Outstanding in-house contribution award, Services to financial regulation award and the IFLR market reform award
