The UK Competition Commission's Laura Carstensen and the Bar
Council's Kim Hollis QC delivered keynote addresses to an audience of
over 200 lawyers who had gathered to recognise the achievements of women
in the legal sector.
Ex-Simmons & Simmons senior partner and former Commissioner for
Public Appointments Dame Janet Gaymer collected the Lifetime Achievement
award. This was for her achievements as a leading figure in the
development of UK employment law, both in the public and private sector.
