Rule 17g-5 pushes more unrated deals

Issuers are starting to shun rated deals, following the amended rule 17g-5's implementation

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) amended the rule on June 2 to force issuers and rating agencies to disclose information that can be used by third parties to rate deals.

But the added time and cost of publishing such information is too burdensome for some issuers and they are considering more unrated...
